Every single member of the AYSO Region 47 Board and Staff is a volunteer. We do it because we love it, but we cannot do it alone! WE NEED YOUR HELP. Recently, we've had some staffing changes, leaving the following open:
Board Positions
CVPA (Child & Volunteer Protection Advocate) -The AYSO volunteer position of Regional Child and Volunteer Protection Advocate is responsible for planning and implementation of the annual registration of all volunteers and to oversee the child and volunteer protection program in the Region in accordance with the AYSO Safe Haven program. skills needed: Computer literate, data entry, responsible for sensitive data
Treasurer - Handle finances for the Region. Collect funds, disburse checks, report on account balances. Must be available at least once a week to meet with board members for financial transactions.
Staff Positions
Operations Assistant - Assist in maintanance and upkeep of the Ab Brown Sports Complex. Background in any one of the following areas: Construction, Plumbing, Electrical, Landscaping, Handyman.
Division Coordinator - Act as coordinator for a specific age division. Assist in forming teams, contacting coaches, relaying information from the board to the division. Skills needed: organization, detail oriented, "people" person.
Statistician/Scheduler Assistant - Assist in creating division schedules, maintain records during the season (games played, scores, etc.) Skills needed: data entry, spreadsheet experience a bonus, detail oriented.
Extra/Select Treasurer - Handle finances for Extra / Select teams. Collect funds, disburse checks, report on account balances. Must be available at least once a week in the evenings to meet with teams for financial transactions.
Marketing Coordinator- Responsible for mantaining the "Brand" for Region 47. Coordinate with local business for Sponsorships, Partnerships and Advertising. Develop marketing plans for The 40th Anniversary of Region 47, the 20th Anniversary of the Locomotion Tournament, and Hosting the 2014 National Games.
