31st Annual Riverside Region 47 Locomotion Tournament

Hosted by Region 47 and Region 462

February13-16, 2026

Locomotion is an AYSO Invitational Tournament – Open to all AYSO regular-season, Allstar, Tournament, Select, and EXTRA teams.

Locomotion offers a 4-game guarantee for your team at reasonable fees and a competitive, well organized, friendly environment.

Most teams will play only Saturday and Sunday 14th-15th. A few local teams (those who are asked to participate) will play Friday night. 

Medal Rounds will be Monday the 16th for 10U-14U.

16/19U division only play Saturday and Sunday. (Subject to change based on amount of teams)

Teams are accepted on a first-come basis, based on properly completed tournament application, availability of a spot for competition and those teams providing a certified referee team. No teams will be marked as accepted into tournament until an application, referee information form and full payment has been received.

Riverside Locomotion Field Addition 

We are adding a second location for the 2026 Riverside Locomotion Tournament. Due to several reasons, we felt it was important to reestablish our presence within our own City of Riverside. Looking ahead to 2027, we are planning to have Locomotion exclusively in Riverside. This is not about expanding team numbers—it’s about securing our future in Riverside.

After discussing our options with the City of Riverside, we were fortunate to obtain Arlington Heights Sports Complex as our second location for 2026.

Arlington Heights offers strong infrastructure, including ample parking, restrooms, and space for multiple fields. It is also conveniently located near shopping and entertainment locations. 

Our staff are working on creating a City of Riverside visitors guide with food and entertainment options. We plan to utilize Arlington Heights in 2027 as our central location. 

I will be working collectively with our scheduler to ensure that there are no teams traveling between Rancho Jurupa and Arlington Heights on the same day.

NOTE: Those who choose to pay online please note that payment will be processed through a 3rd party company and you will be charged a service fee.

If accepted, it will be assumed that you intend for your team to play the entire tournament, and to return if necessary, on the rainout alternative dates. 

Refund: if you withdraw your application 30 or more days from the start of the tournament, a full refund will be issued. If you withdraw after that time, we will only issue a refund if a replacement team can be found.

STEPS TO JOIN THE TOURNAMENT:

2. Submit payment and documents.
   This must be a single team payment that covers both entry fee + referee deposit. Please make payable to "AYSO REGION 47"
   
   
3. Submit signed documents no later than January 17th.
   An Official Roster generated through Sports Connect "E4". Send as email attachment to [email protected]
   
   
4. These other documents are also required:
   • Team Application form 
   • Guest Player form (required if using guest players)
   • Referee Crew form (required if supplying referees)
   • Youth Referee Form (required if using youth referees)

How to Generate a Roster in AYSO E4

Instead of submitting the above Team Roster, you may submit an official roster generated through the AYSO Association Platform "E4." If you do not have access to E4, request an "Official Roster" or "Official Photo Roster" from your Regional Commissioner.

Steps to print an Official Roster or Official Photo Roster in E4:

1. In E4, from the top menu choose Teams > Team Lookup.
2. Search for the team. Click on the team to view.
3. At the bottom of the Roster tab, find the Print Official Roster or the Print Official Photo Roster button. (see screenshot)
